Job Description

 

Every memorable dining experience at Fairmont Hotels and Resorts begins behind the scenes with our culinary team’s commitment to safe, efficient operations and exceptional cuisine. We invite you to join the world of luxury hospitality at Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge, as our new Chief Steward.

What you will be doing:  

Reporting to the Executive Chef, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

  • Direct supervision of all stewarding employees, and supervisors as well as training, performance management, scheduling and assigning of daily duties and long term projects
  • Follow departmental policies, procedures, safety and service standards
  • Consistently offering professional, engaging and friendly service.
  • Ensuring the highest degree of cleanliness and maintenance in accordance with Fairmont Hotels & Resorts standards, policies and procedures.
  • Work closely with the outlet leaders to maintain adequate levels of china, silver, and glass par stock levels
