What you will do

• Assist in the preparation and assembly of sushi items, including maki rolls, nigiri, and sashimi.
• Ensure proper handling, storage, and rotation of seafood and perishable ingredients.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sushi station in accordance with hygiene and safety standards.
• Support senior chefs in daily mise en place and contribute to smooth kitchen operations.
• Follow recipes, portion controls, and presentation standards to ensure consistency in all dishes.

What you bring

• Basic knowledge of sushi preparation and Japanese cuisine techniques.
• Prior experience in a professional kitchen (experience in a sushi bar or Pan-Asian restaurant is an advantage).
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining food hygiene standards.
• Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work well within a team.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required.
