Director of Food & Beverage

 

The Director of Food and Beverage will report to the Director of Operations and forms part of the Hotel Leadership team who collectively make key strategic and operational decisions for the Hotel.

 

The magnitude of the product and services offered, calls for a well experienced, creative and fiscally savvy candidate who has the aspiration to lead multifaceted and diverse team and is able to look outside the box to ensure that the world-class Four Seasons quality is offered in a high volume environment.

 

WHAT ARE YOUR ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Strategically oversee the operations of the F&B division.
  • Promote product innovation and delivery as well as service offer for each Restaurant.
  • Build team capability, knowledge and resources to meet long term business objectives e.g. recruitment strategy; training system, career and succession planning.
  • Develop, oversee and trouble shoot day to day capacity planning and performance management e.g. work rotes, systems, disciplinary issues.
  • Work with sales and marketing and senior operations to develop and deploy a PR, sales and marketing strategy, ensuring each restaurant is positioned to meet business objectives.
  • Be accountable for sales revenue and day to day P&L across F&B division.
  • Monitor annual business plans and targets to achieve business objectives, as well as future guest trends and align F&B products and service offer.

 

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Previous Experience as a Division Head in a Luxury Hotel or Resort
  • Highest level of integrity and transparency
  • Apply an ethical approach to the outcome of situations
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills to work with cross-functional teams
  • Reasonable problem-solving, decision-making and conflict resolution skills
  • Elevated Leadership skills and experience in a multicultural environment
  • Ability to recognize and adapt to the fast-paced hotel operation
  • A positive, can-do attitude that shows resilience and maturity with strong communication skills
