WE ARE ON THE LOOK OUT FOR a REDtabulous Lead Creative aka Engineering Team Leader to join our incREDible Engineering team here @Radisson RED

What we expect from you:

1. Assists Chief Engineer and Asst. Maintenance manager in the day to day operation
2. Responsible for the proper organization and functioning of the maintenance and repair functions of the R&M, HLP and Plant Section

 

1. Assures implementation of policies, standards and procedures for:
   • Energy conservation and control.
   • Water and sewage quality control.
   • Fire prevention and other life safety programs.
   • Effective plant preventive and routine maintenance.
   • Operation and control of plant and equipment.
   • Energy management systems and procedures.
   • POMEC Logs and utility consumption.
   • Inspection and staff supervision.
   • Appearance and housekeeping of boiler room and all equipment rooms.
2. Determines optimal operating efficiencies and take necessary corrective measures when variances from standards are excessive through logs and utility data.
3. Supports and initiate Programs for the improvement procedures and the reduction of energy and utility costs.
4. Analysis and monitors energy costs and expenditures for the Department.
5. Recommends to the Chief Engineer, new policies and procedures for a more economical operation and maintenance programs.
6. Participates in the preparation of the annual POMEC Budget.
7. Attends engineering departmental meetings.
8. Establishes and maintains effective employee relations.
9. Ensures the smooth operation of equipment and machinery
10. Maintains equipment and machinery record system for the property.
11. Participates in conducting fire prevention training programs.
12. Determines programs for routine plant preventive maintenance and its implementation.
13. Ensures Hotels repair and maintenance order system is in accordance with Policy and Procedure.
14. Responsible for SCM and Rezpin – purchase requisition

 

1. Checking daily attendance sheets and attendance posting

 

1. Distributing Maintenance orders

 

1. Receiving incoming memorandum

 

1. Maintains all equipment record files as detailed in POMEC Technical Maintenance Manual.

 

1. Monitors all preventive maintenance work carried out into equipment record cards and equipment record files.

 

1. Complies with the Health, Safety and Hygiene Policy.

 

OCCASIONAL DUTIES:

 

1. Performs related duties and special projects as assigned.

 

1. Reports to Chief Engineer/Asst. Maintenance Manager.

 

1. Interacts – Cooperates with others in the Engineering Department.

 

1. Interacts and cooperates with guests and outside contractors as directed.

 

1. Interacts with other departments when necessary to provide additional or specialized services for functions, promotions and festivities.

 

GENERAL DUTIES:

 

1. Attends meeting or training sessions as required by management.
2. Is conversant with:
   • The Hotel Fire Procedures
   • The Hotel and Company Security Procedures
   • The Hotel Health and safety policy and Procedures
   • The Hotel Facilities and Attractions
   • Current Licensing Regulations (Engineering Department only)
   • Methods of payment accepted by the Company (Cash Handling Staff only)
   • Hotel operation standards and departmental procedures
   • Short and Long term Training procedures
3. Maintain a safe and hygienic work environment.
