  • Providing exceptional guest service before, during and post-event including greeting and directing guests, providing information or resolving basic issues during the event, and ensuring food and beverage service is timely and accurate.
  • Act as a point of contact for the client during the event and communicating last-minute changes or requests to relevant colleagues.
  • Ensuring the event space remains tidy and safe during the function.
  • Keeping track of event supplies and restocking items as needed before and after events.
  • Reporting event outcomes or any incidents to supervisors.
  • Assisting with post-event inventory, storage and guest feedback.

What we need from you

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role within a luxury hotel or large-scale events venue.
  • Proven success working on large-scale events and a strong understanding of operational logistics.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, organisational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a guest-first mindset.
  • Flexibility to work a varied roster including evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
  • Hold a current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification.
  • Calm under pressure—handling complaints, emergencies, or operational hiccups without disruption.
  • Full working rights in Australia without restrictions.
  • Impeccable grooming standards and good personal hygiene.
  • Physical fitness as you’ll be on your feet most of the day. Sometimes you’ll need to lift, push and pull objects, such as tables up to 23 kg – we have the equipment to support you and keep you safe.
