Front Desk Agent

The Embassy Suites by Hilton Seattle Downtown Pioneer Square is searching for a Front Desk Agent.

The 282 rooms property is perfectly located in the heart of Seattle’s vibrant Downtown Pioneer Square, steps from King St. Station and surrounded by exceptional dining, nightlife, and iconic venues like the Seahawks and Mariners stadium.

  • Classification:  Full-time
  • Shift Pattern: Union position must have flexible/open availability for any AM/PM shifts, weekends and holidays are required.
  • Pay Rate: Starting wage will be $25.59 plus incentives, after 90 days of employment the wage will increase to $28.43 per hour.

What will I be doing?

A Front Desk Agent is responsible for greeting and registering guests and checking guests out of the hotel in the hotel’s continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

  • Greet guests and complete the registration process to include, but not limited to, inputting and retrieving information from the computer, confirmation of guest information and room rate, selection of rooms, coding electronic keys, promoting marketing programs, providing a welcome packet and ensuring guest knows location of room and/or has a bell person accompany him/her.
  • Respond to guest inquiries and in a timely, friendly and efficient manner.
  • Provide driving and/or walking directions to guests to local destinations.
  • Ensure a high level of product knowledge of the hotel, including, but not limited to, directions, hours of outlet operation, hotel services, hotel events and local and community events and attractions.
  • Assist fellow team members and other departments wherever necessary to maintain positive working relationships.
  • Provide or obtain accurate information.
  • Assist guests with luggage storage.
