Job Description

 

Front Office Supervisor

Providing engaging, sincere, personalized service is one of the ways our Front Office colleagues are turning moments into memories for our guests at Fairmont Chateau Whistler. Showcase your interpersonal strengths as Front Office Supervisor, where you will lead, train, and recognize your team in support of exceptional guest service!

This is a full-time, permanent position, beginning Summer 2026.

Starting Rate of Pay: $25.25 per hour

We recognize tenure through our compensation – hourly rates increase after 6 months and then yearly to three years. At three years the pay rate for this role would be $29.50.

Job Duties Include:

Reporting to the Front Office Manager, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

  • Assist the Front Office Manager in all aspects of the department, and ensure service standards are followed
  • Provide managerial support for the Front Office in the daily operational duties
  • Ensuring proper staffing and scheduling of all Front Office colleagues in accordance to productivity guidelines
  • Conduct training of new team members
  • Be an ambassador for the ALL Accor program, by ensuring all members are given the highest level of service, and enrolling new members

 

Qualifications

 

  • Minimum 1-year Front Office Supervisory experience
  • Degree or Diploma in Hotel Management is an asset
  • Knowledge of Property Management Systems (Opera)
  • Proficiency in MS Office
