Job Description

 

We are thrilled to present an exceptional opportunity to join our esteemed culinary team at the renowned Fairmont Olympic Hotel as a Cook I. As a Cook I, you will have the chance to showcase your culinary skills and contribute to creating memorable dining experiences for our guests. Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook a wide range of menu items, ensuring high-quality and consistent results
  • Follow established recipes, portion sizes, and presentation standards
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to plan and execute menus for various outlets
  • Assist in monitoring inventory levels and ensure proper storage and rotation of food items
  • Maintain a clean and organized work station, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Assist in the development and implementation of new menu items and culinary concepts
  • Contribute to maintaining a positive and respectful work environment
  • Uphold the Fairmont brand standards of quality and excellence
  • Attend training sessions and workshops to enhance culinary skills and knowledge
  • Assist in other areas of the kitchen or hotel operations as needed
