Head Waiter/Waitress

As part of its expansion, Melia Hotels International opened its sixth French hotel in February 2015 in the heart of the La Défense business district.
This contemporary 4-star hotel, with 364 rooms and 19 floors, offers guests a conference center, a fitness center, two restaurants, and the SKYLINE bar on the top floor, with panoramic views of Paris.

To complete its bar team, the Melia Paris la Défense is looking for its future talent as a  Head Waiter/Waitress (M/F).

Main Missions  :

• Welcoming and ensuring the customer receives proper care
• Take charge and ensure the smooth running of the service
• Advising and making suggestions regarding the client’s choice
• Prepare and serve drinks
• Prepare and present the bill to the customer
• Participate in stock and inventory management
• Participate in customer loyalty initiatives
• Contribute to revenue growth through upselling techniques
• Ensure the cleanliness of your workplace and food safety (HACCP)

Desired Profile:

• You have at least one year of successful experience in a similar role.
• You have fluent English; proficiency in a third language is an asset.
• You have an innate sense of customer relations and satisfaction.
• You have good communication skills and are organized.
• You are proficient in HACCP standards

Employment conditions and benefits  :

• Permanent contract
• 39 hours/week
