Job Description

 

Cibaria Noosa is looking for a confident, organised and experienced Host to join our Front of House team!

As the first point of contact for our guests, you’ll play a critical role in creating exceptional customer experiences while keeping service running smoothly in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

We’re looking for someone who thrives under pressure, thinks quickly on their feet, and has a genuine passion for hospitality.

About the Role

  • Be the first point of contact for all guests, creating a warm, welcoming and professional first impression
  • Manage reservations, seating plans and waitlists to ensure smooth and efficient service flow throughout each shift
  • Monitor guest arrivals and table allocations, balancing service demands while maximising the dining experience
  • Effectively handle guest enquiries, special requests and feedback, resolving issues with confidence and professionalism
  • Maintain accurate reservation and guest information within our booking platform
  • Communicate closely with the Restaurant Manager, Supervisors and Front of House team regarding service requirements, VIP guests and table availability
  • Assist in coordinating large bookings, special events and peak service periods
  • Proactively manage guest expectations and wait times while delivering exceptional customer service
  • Ensure host stand, entry areas and guest-facing spaces are presented to the highest standard at all times
  • Support the wider Front of House team as required to ensure seamless restaurant operations
