**Responsibilities:** – Greet and welcome guests with a warm, professional demeanor upon arrival – Manage the reservation system and maintain an accurate seating chart – Seat guests promptly and ensure optimal table assignments based on party size and preferences – Provide guests with menus and communicate current specials or promotions

• Monitor dining room flow and coordinate with service staff to ensure efficient table turnover – Answer guest inquiries regarding menu items, wait times, and restaurant policies – Handle guest complaints or concerns with professionalism and escalate to management when necessary – Maintain a clean and organized host stand, including reservation books and guest lists
• Answer incoming phone calls and take reservations with accuracy and courtesy – Assist with guest coat check and departure procedures – Collaborate with kitchen and service teams to optimise guest experience – Adhere to health, safety, and sanitation standards at all times – Perform additional duties as assigned by management to support restaurant operations

**Qualifications:** **Required:** – High school diploma or equivalent – Proven experience as a Host/Hostess in a restaurant or hospitality setting (minimum 1 year preferred) – Excellent communication and interpersonal skills – Proficiency with reservation management systems and point-of-sale (POS) software

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities – Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment – Physical ability to stand for extended periods and move throughout the dining room – Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed – Knowledge of basic health, safety, and sanitation standards **Preferred:**
• Experience in an upscale or fine dining establishment – Familiarity with restaurant operations and service standards – Bilingual capabilities – Certification in food safety or hospitality customer service – Experience with guest management software or reservation platforms – Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills – Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team
