Your Responsibilities:

  • Supervise & guide fellow team members of Stewarding Department.
  • Ensure that dishware, food, & equipment is preset and/or delivered in timely manner to banquet functions.
  • Maintain back of house banquets areas in which functions are taking place, included but not limited to: ensuring dishware and serving equipment is properly sanitized
  • Assist the Executive Steward or Stewarding Manager with the cleaning of all F&B areas: restaurants, bars, banquet pantries, and kitchens, as well as equipment in these areas as they pertain to Stewarding Department.

Compensation: $26.90 per Hour

 

 

Qualifications

 

  • Ability to speak, read, and write in English required so as to fully comprehend job requests, hazardous materials, caution notices, and other similar written materials.
  • Ability to count dishware during operational inventory.
  • Ability to perform duties with extreme temperature ranges.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of Food & Beverage operational equipment and how to maintain them.
  • High School graduate or equivalent or similar experience preferred.
  • Work experience in stewarding, in restaurants or hotels desired.
  • Ability to obtain any government required licenses or certificates.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
