About the role:

The Night In-Room Dining Server provides late-night in-room dining services to hotel guests, ensuring their food and beverage orders are delivered accurately, efficiently and in timely manner. This role involves taking orders, preparing and delivering meals, setting up dining areas in guest rooms and ensuring guest satisfaction throughout the process. The Night In-Room Dining Server is also responsible for managing payment transactions and cleaning up after meals. They maintain a well-stocked service area and are also tasked with delivering amenities and refreshing minibars. Exceptional customer service, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently are key to success in this role. Strong communication skills and a focus on creating a seamless, enjoyable guest experience.

What You will do:

• Maintain a strong knowledge of the menu and wines, with the ability to provide detailed descriptions of dishes and wine pairings to guests.
• Anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, and offer suggestions, and respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests.
• Ensure all orders are accurately entered into Micros and properly close guest checks.
• Process cash and credit card payments; properly settle voided checks or complimentary meals.
• Provide timely and professional food service to guests, ensuring the highest standards of presentation and quality.
• Assist with the cleaning of operational areas.
• Assist with the delivery of amenities and refreshment of minibars in guest rooms.

What You will bring:

• One to two years previous experience in a Food & Beverage role.
• Ability to operate computer systems and F&B software (Micros).
• Excellent interpersonal skills and personal presentation.

• Outstanding communications skills with a strong command of the English language.
• The ability to work night shifts, weekends and holidays. Overnight shifts for 8.5 hours, 5 days per week.
