Payroll Officer

The primary responsibility of the Payroll Officer is to maintain comprehensive payroll records, ensuring that all payrolls, including wages, banking, allowances, and deductions, PAYE are accurately prepared and paid in a timely manner. The role aims to be recognized as a trusted advisor to finance team members and other hotel business partners. This role supports the finance lead to retain and train best-in-class finance professionals and assists in developing their finance team.

What will I be doing?

The Payroll Officer is responsible for the efficient operation of the hotels Payroll department in all activities related to timely and accurate payroll processing, maintenance and control of the hotel’s payroll process and related accounts.

• Assists in any other way deemed necessary for the efficient overall operation of the Finance Department.
• Ensure a smooth operation of hotel’s / cluster of hotels payroll process in full compliance with policies, regulatory and contractual framework.
• Business partner with all hotel finance team members and a broad range of internal stakeholder, mainly Human Resources and all other departments.
• Support the Finance Lead to develop best-in-class hotel Finance teams, including participation in all relevant Finance development and training programs.

Additional Preferences:

• University degree in Accounting or Finance
• Knowledge of Tower operations to include all aspects
