Job Description

 

    1. Assist in preparing the Annual Training Plan based on Hotel’s mission, vision, strategies, and business objectives.
    2. Conduct off the job training sessions based on performance deficiency or development needs noticed.
    3. Facilitate learning through a variety of delivery methods including classroom instruction, virtual training, on-the-job coaching.
    4. Conduct induction for new hires.
    5. Design, develop, and produce training materials and hand-outs for training programs.
    6. Follow up with employees to assure the implementation of learned skills and techniques.
    7. Observe employees’ performance improvement.
    8. Maintain attendance records for all employees.
    9. Schedule training dates & programs with external training providers.
    10. Be present during operation to make sure that the quality of service provided is in parallel with the hotel service standards.
    11. Assist in developing the training plan.
    12. Select employee participants in collaboration with manager’s nominations.
    13. Select and specify any materials, books or other collateral required in the instruction process.
    14. Evaluate and make recommendations on training material and methodology.
    15. Actively listen and respond positively to questions, concerns, and requests to resolve issues, delight, and build trust.
    16. Provide assistance to individuals with disabilities, including assisting visually, hearing, or physically-impaired individuals within guidelines (e.g., escorting them when requested, using words to explain actions, writing directions on paper, or moving objects out of the way).
    17. Assist other employees to ensure proper coverage.
    18. Welcome and acknowledge each and every person with a smile, eye contact, and a friendly verbal greeting, using the person’s name when possible.
    19. Speak using clear, appropriate and professional language.
    20. Discuss work topics, activities, or problems with co-workers, supervisors, or managers discreetly and quietly, avoiding public areas of the property.
    21. Talk with and listen to other employees to effectively exchange information.
    22. Collaborate with management to formally recognize hourly employees’ performance
