About the role

Handle all incoming and outgoing calls with warmth, professionalism, and efficiency, ensuring every guest feels heard, valued, and well assisted. Coordinate communication between internal departments, making you a key link in delivering exceptional service.

 

What you will do

  • Assist guests with general inquiries, room service orders, reservations, wake-up calls, and requests for information or assistance.
  • Direct calls to appropriate departments or personnel.
  • Monitor emergency calls and respond according to established procedures.
  • Handle guest complaints or issues with empathy and ensure proper follow-up.
  • Maintain accurate records of guest requests and ensure timely follow-through.
  • Update and manage the internal telephone directory.
  • Work closely with the Front Office, Housekeeping, In-Room Dining, and Engineering teams to ensure smooth communication.
  • Ensure all communications systems and equipment are functioning properly; report technical issues when necessary.
  • Maintain a calm and composed demeanor during high call volume or emergency situations.

 

What you bring

  • Previous experience in a customer service or hotel communications role preferred.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills and a clear, pleasant speaking voice.
  • Strong multitasking and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in phone systems and basic computer applications.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful or emergency situations.
  • Fluent in English; and Japanese.
