Pool Server

The beautiful Hilton Santa Barbara Beachfront Resort is looking for our next experienced Server to join the amazing Food & Beverage team! This is a seasonal role in Terraza del Mar at the pool boasting new private cabanas. Shift Pattern: Open availability for mid/evening shifts required (typically earliest start time 10am and latest end time 7pm, business dependent); service will be available weekends only for early/late season, and every day mid-June through September; must be able to work entire season (April through September with no extended time off)

Hourly Rate: $16.50 per hour plus tips

The ideal candidate will possess the following attributes:

• At least 6 months bartending experience in a full-service capacity
• Food Handlers and RBS certifications
• Comfortable working outdoors
• A genuine spirit to provide an elevated, memorable experience for our guests!

What will I be doing?

As a Pool Server, you would be responsible for serving beverages and/or food to guests in the hotel’s continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

• Respond to guest requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
• Ensure knowledge of menu and restaurant promotions and specials
• Take guest beverage and/or food orders and input orders in appropriate point-of-sale system
• Retrieve and deliver food and beverage orders in a timely manner
• Replenish beverages and ensure guest satisfaction throughout the meal service
• Serve alcoholic/non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with federal, state, local and company regulations
• Ensure serving station is well-stocked at all times
