About the location:

People Functions:

  • Maintain harmonious and professional relationship with co-workers, supervisors and all departments to promote effective receiving and pick up of goods received.
  • Comply with Four Seasons’ Category One and Category Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct as set forth in EmPact.
  • Assist in other areas of the Accounting office as needed.

 

​Product Functions :

  • Ensure all local and corporate policies, rules, internal controls and procedures and safeguards as they relate to the Purchasing Department are complied with.
  • Must be able to perform all duties that are usually performed by Storeroom Clerks and Receiver.
  • Supervise/work together with Storeroom Clerks to ensure that all incoming merchandise is dated, priced and rotated in all circumstances.
  • Supervise the day-to-day functions of the Receiving Clerk and ensure that all items received by the hotel are properly documented in accordance with Four Seasons Purchasing Policies.
  • Coordinate and participate as necessary in all month-end, quarterly or annual inventories of food, beverage, and Guest supplies.
  • Track requests progress to make sure orders are filled and delivered correctly.
  • Ensure that all purchase order requests are properly documented and accounted for, completed and approved before a purchase order is prepared and the items are purchased
  • Assist Accounts Payable Clerk in researching any discrepancies on invoices.
  • Ensure that all storage areas are secure, clean and properly organized
  • Establish and maintain par stocks on all inventoried items, keeping in mind that inventory levels must be kept as low as possible without compromising the efficiency of the hotel
  • Monitor daily costs and prepare or review a daily and month-to-date Food & Beverage Cost Report.
  • Cost Follow up on a daily basis and updates on purchasing system (Birchstreet).
  • Manage Monthly storerooms & outlets inventory.
