Reservations Supervisor

As a Reservations Supervisor, you will lead a team a small team in the reservations department. You report directly to the Director of Revenue and oversee reservations for corporate and leisure guests. As Reservations Supervisor, you play a crucial role in assisting our hotel guests from their initial inquiry to their arrival.

• Supervise and support the reservations team in handling bookings.
• Safely and securely handle payment transactions, verifying billing details for accuracy
• Ensure all reservations are entered accurately into the property management system.
• Monitor room inventory, availability, and booking restrictions to optimize occupancy and revenue.
• Train and mentor reservations staff on systems, procedures, and service standards.
• Liaise with Sales, Revenue Management, and Front Office teams to ensure booking accuracy and smooth guest arrivals.
• Monitor reservation channels (phone, email, online travel agents) and respond promptly to enquiries.
• Identify upselling opportunities and ensure the team actively promotes room upgrades and packages.
• Resolve reservation discrepancies, guest issues, and booking amendments.

• Experience as a Reservation Agent, Senior Guest Service Agent or Reservations Team Leader, ready to flex your leadership skills and take the next step in your career
• Customer service-oriented with exceptional communication skills
• Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to speak clearly and confidently on the phone for extended periods
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Proficiency in using reservation and property management systems
• Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to go the extra mile
• Understanding of Opera Cloud, FastCom, ResaWeb
• Have Full working rights in Australia
