About the role

Ready to lead unforgettable guest experiences after hours? Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale is looking for a motivated and service-driven leader to join our Rooms Operations team as a Resort Assistant Manager – Night Manager. While primarily leading Front Desk operations, this role also plays a key part in supporting Guest Services and Housekeeping to ensure every overnight moment is flawless.

 

What you will do

  • Manages the staff at the Front Desk & Overnight Team
  • Serves as manager on duty and point of contact during overnight shifts
  • Interviews, trains and schedules the staff and conducts Performance Evaluations and disciplines staff when needed
  • Coordinates arrivals, departures and billing requirements with Sales and Catering Department
  • Blocks rooms for arrivals and ensures any discrepancies are resolved
  • Reviews daily arrivals to ensure proper handling of Special Attention Guests, Return Guests, and Groups
  • Assures that all financial and credit procedures are followed
  • Takes action in all matters related to the safety, security, satisfaction and well-being of hotel guests and employees when senior managers are not available

 

What you will do

  • The ability to manage, coach, counsel hourly staff in the Front Office department
  • Previous hotel/resort experience required or similar previous position in management
  • Luxury hotel/resort experience preferred
  • Experience with Forbes Travel Guide standards preferred
  • Ability to work weekends and holidays with flexible work schedule
  • Ability to stand/walk for up to 10 hours per shift.
