MISSIONS PRINCIPALES :
MAIN MISSIONS:
Under the supervision of the Sales Manager or Director of Sales, the Sales Intern supports the team in developing the hotel’s commercial activity (individuals, groups, seminars, events, corporate clients, agencies, etc.). He/She participates in prospecting activities, manages incoming requests, follows up on client files, prepares sales tools, and conducts competitive intelligence. This internship provides an opportunity to gain insight into the commercial strategy of a property and actively contribute to its growth.
SPECIFIC MISSIONS:
Sales Support:
Respond to requests for proposals (groups, seminars, events) in support of the team;
Prepare sales offers and send personalized proposals to clients;
Follow up on options, carry out sales reminders, and handle the administrative management of ongoing files;
Assist in coordinating events with other departments (rooms, F&B, technical).
Prospection & Client Retention:
Contribute to prospecting for new clients (calls, emailing, database updates);
Update and qualify the customer database (CRM, contact sheets);
Draft follow-up or commercial information emails;
Support the creation of communication materials (presentations, brochures, newsletters, etc.).
Market Intelligence & Analysis:
Monitor competitors: pricing, services, benchmarking;
Track performance indicators (revenue, occupancy, customer segmentation) in collaboration with Revenue Management.
Events & Public Relations (depending on the period):
Assist with the organization of site inspections or promotional events;
Welcome clients or partners during commercial visits or events.
Human Resources:
Establish and maintain an open and efficient working relationship with all team members;
Ensure completion of mandatory internal training and Marriott International online trainings;
Consistently apply hotel and/or brand standards and procedures;
