Senior Sales Manager

Job Description

 

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue, market share, and profitability targets.
  • Drive new business development while strengthening relationships with key and strategic accounts.
  • Set annual sales targets, budgets, and forecasts, ensuring consistent performance against objectives.
  • Lead high-level client negotiations and close complex sales agreements in line with business goals.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer insights to refine sales strategies.
  • Maintain a strong and accurate sales pipeline with effective forecasting and reporting.
  • Collaborate closely with operations, marketing, and revenue teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Represent the organization at industry events, networking functions, and client engagements.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the sales team to foster a high-performance, results-driven culture.
  • Prepare and present sales performance reports and strategic recommendations to senior management.

 

Qualifications

 

  • Minimum 5–7 years of proven sales experience in the hospitality / hotel industry, with at least 2–3 years in a managerial role.
  • Strong track record of achieving and exceeding revenue and sales targets.
  • Proven experience in strategic sales planning, forecasting, and budgeting.
  • Excellent leadership, coaching, and team management skills.
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and contract management abilities.
  • In-depth understanding of hospitality market trends, pricing strategies, and revenue management.
  • Ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
  • High level of analytical and reporting skills, with the ability to interpret sales data and market insights.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and hospitality systems such as Opera; CRM experience is an advantage.
  • High standards of professional integrity, adaptability, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.
