About the job

Based at the Mandarin Oriental, Shenzhen within the Food & Beverage Division in Shenzhen, TAPAS 77 Service Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all the daily operation and functions by providing leadership and overall supervision to the colleagues while ensuring a high standard of guest satisfaction. TAPAS 77 Service Supervisor reports to the Outlets Manager.

As TAPAS 77 Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for the following duties:

• Supervise and participate in running an efficient and profitable operation in the areas for which you are responsible. Liaise with your manager to actively encourage a professional and dedicated team
• Develop and maintain all training programs on a continual basis to insure a high degree of professionalism within the colleagues.
• To report and follow up all maintenance defaults affecting efficient and professional delivery of service
• To respond proactively to guest queries, ensuring that appropriate action is taken in the absence of the manager and assistant manager, followed by effective communication
• To maintain and order all the store requisition
• Conduct monthly departmental itself and provide a regular forum for improving departmental communication.

As TAPAS 77 Service Supervisor, we expect from you: 

• Minimum 1 year’s relevant working experience in similar capacity
• Excellent communication and organization skills
• Ability to manage and train colleagues effectively
• Fluency in English and Mandarin is required
