Tour Coordinator

Job Description

 

Join us as a Tour Coordinator at Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, where you’ll be an essential part of creating smooth, memorable experiences for our tour guests. Foster strong relationships with tour companies and internal teams, ensuring seamless operations and exceptional service. Be part of a dynamic environment and contribute to the overall success of our guest experiences.

Pay Rate: $21.31 /hour
Position Type: Seasonal (May-October)
Job Duties Include:

  • Provide ongoing training of Tour Operations Agents
  • Review Winter contracts to put together a promotional document for the tour operations agent to ensure accurate billing
  • Establish and maintain good working relationships between the hotel and tour companies and their representatives
  • Ensure accurate billing to Tour companies, complete “No Show” FIT billing, and cancelled tour billing
  • Ensure the Winter room contract and promotional rates are accurately loaded in Property Manager

 

Qualifications

 

  • A minimum of two years Front Office/Guest Services or Tour Services experience required
  • Well organized and excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal as well as good problem-solving abilities
  • Knowledge of Property Manager/Opera, MFR, Word and Excel an asset
  • Management Degree or Diploma in Hospitality or Tourism an asset

You may be required to work on holidays, weekends, overnights and other non-day shifts. Submission of your application to Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise indicates that you are able to meet these requirements as needed.
