Training Intern – Human Resources

JOB DESCRIPTION

***This role is based in São Paulo, Brazil***

The Hilton corporate internship program offers undergraduate and graduate students the opportunity to gain real-world professional experience in a global company. The program is intended to develop the business leaders of tomorrow. Interns will gain exposure to senior leadership, work on meaningful projects, participate in learning and development opportunities and join in networking and social events with other Team Members and fellow interns.

We are looking for an intern to support the Training and Development area within the Human Resources department. This is an excellent opportunity for someone eager to gain hands-on experience in people management, employee training, and organizational culture, in a collaborative and dynamic environment. The internship will be on-site in our Sao Paulo, Brazil office for a period of 6 months. The work schedule will be 6 hours per day, 5 days per week Monday through Friday.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Your role is important and below are some of the fundamental job duties that make your work unique.

We believe the success in this role will demonstrate itself through the following attributes and skills:

  • Assist in organizing internal and external training sessions
  • Support the logistics of development events (invitations, attendance lists, materials)
  • Update training and development controls and performance indicators
  • Help create content and presentations for training programs
  • Provide support in communicating training initiatives to employees

WHY YOU’LL BE A GREAT FIT

You have these minimum qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled as a full-time college student pursuing a Bachelor’s or Graduate degree in Administration, Human Resources, Pedagogy, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Available to work on-site at our corporate office in Sao Paulo, Brazil (6 hours per day, 5 days per week Monday – Friday)
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Strong communication skills, organization, and attention to detail

It would be useful if you have:

  • Internship or work experience in the hospitality industry
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including PowerPoint and Excel functions
