Waiter / Waitress

Mandarin Oriental, Bangkok is looking for a Waiter/Waitress to join our Food and Beverage team.

About the job

Based at the Mandarin Oriental, Bangkok within the Food and Beverage Department, The China House Restaurant

 

As Waiter/Waitress, you will be responsible for the following duties:

  • To ensure that the uniform provided is kept clean, presentable and in good condition, ensuring that standards of personal hygiene and appearance are an example for the team and demonstrate a professional image for our guests.
  • To ensure that mis en place’ levels are kept to standards.
  • To meet and greet guests in a professional and efficient manner.
  • To assist the Waiter/ Waitress in maintaining the station fully stocked, clean and tidy
  • Pick up the food according to order.
  • To serve food and beverage according to hotel standards and guest needs.
  • To clear and reset tables.
  • To wish “Farewell” to all guests.

As Restaurant General Manager, we expect from you: 

  • Excellent presentation and proactive communication skills in both verbal and written in English and Thai.
  • Strong background in Michelin stars/Fine dining/5 stars luxury properties.
  • Willing to work split shift.
  • Willing to work the required number of hours, depending on business demand.
