Job mission

This position is responsible for providing excellent, attentive, and courteous service. It adheres to all quality standards and pays particular attention to customer service, ensuring that food and beverages are presented correctly before being served to guests, thereby guaranteeing guest and customer satisfaction and earning their recognition and preference for the hotel’s services.

 

What will you have to do?

  • Perform the service quickly and correctly, following the SOP for your position, ensuring that your interventions are timely.
  • Prepare the service setups according to the established quality and presentation standards, verifying that all products are included, such as cutlery, salt shakers, napkins, sauces, dressings, etc.
  • Comply with the policies and procedures regarding discipline, presentation, schedules, transit areas, and safety standards established by the Hotel.
  • Attend department meetings and continuously participate in scheduled training for your position.
  • Present the bill to the customer, strictly adhering to the established collection procedures, depending on the payment method.
  • Understand the Brand’s philosophy and comply with the standards, operating manuals and identity guidelines that apply to your department.
  • To ensure a positive customer experience and personalize their stay, anticipating their needs and exceeding their expectations.
  • Address customer issues, communicating the actions taken to your supervisor. Escalate the issue to your supervisor if you are unable to provide a solution.
  • To know and promote the hotel’s services and facilities, as well as the entertainment program, experiences and events.
  • Know the Hotel’s evacuation plan, as well as the methods, work procedures and risks inherent to its activity.

 

What are we looking for?

  • Compulsory Secondary Education and/or Higher Level.
  • Local language and advanced English. A third language is a plus.
  • Training appropriate to the position (Vocational Training, Specialization Courses, etc.).
  • Teamwork skills, proactivity towards excellence, dynamism and organization.
  • Clear focus on the customer and attention to detail.
