About the job

Based at the Mandarin Oriental, Shenzhen within the Food & Beverage Division in Shenzhen, OPUS 388 Restaurants Service Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all the daily operation and functions by providing leadership and overall supervision to the colleagues while ensuring a high standard of guest satisfaction. OPUS 388 Restaurants Service Supervisor reports to the OPUS 388 Restaurants Assistant Manager.

As OPUS 388 Restaurants Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for the following duties:

• Supervise and participate in running an efficient and profitable operation in the areas for which you are responsible. Liaise with your manager to actively encourage a professional and dedicated team
• Develop and maintain all training programs on a continual basis to insure a high degree of professionalism within the colleagues.
• To report and follow up all maintenance defaults affecting efficient and professional delivery of service
• To respond proactively to guest queries, ensuring that appropriate action is taken in the absence of the manager and assistant manager, followed by effective communication
• To maintain and order all the store requisition
• Conduct monthly departmental itself and provide a regular forum for improving departmental communication.

As OPUS 388 Restaurants Service Supervisor, we expect from you: 

• Minimum 2 years’ relevant working experience in similar capacity
• Excellent communication and organization skills
• Ability to manage and train colleagues effectively
• Fluency in English and Mandarin is required
