About the location:

Four Seasons Resort Mallorca at Formentor, perched on the spectacular Formentor Peninsula and surrounded by panoramic views of the Mediterranean and the stunning landscape, first opened its doors in August 2024 following an extensive restoration and renovation of the historic property, originally inaugurated in 1929 on a vast private estate. After its successful debut, the resort will reopen to guests in March 2025, reaffirming its status as a unique destination of luxury and elegance on the island.

 

 

Sobre el puesto

Como Cocinero/a, apoyarás al equipo culinario en la entrega de experiencias gastronómicas excepcionales, participando activamente en la preparación y presentación de platos de alta calidad. Este puesto es ideal para personas apasionadas que buscan desarrollar su carrera en cocina dentro de un entorno refinado y dinámico. Bajo la supervisión de chefs senior, obtendrás experiencia práctica, perfeccionarás tus habilidades técnicas y contribuirás al buen funcionamiento diario de la cocina.

 

Lo que harás

  • Preparar alimentos de forma constante y con alta calidad según los pedidos de los huéspedes, siguiendo recetas, así como los estándares de producción, porcionado y presentación.
  • Operar, mantener y limpiar correctamente los equipos de cocina, incluyendo procesadores de alimentos, batidoras y hornos.
  • Mantener una estación de trabajo limpia, organizada y eficiente.
  • Tener conocimientos sólidos sobre normas de higiene y seguridad alimentaria, así como dominio de cortes de cuchillo.
  • Etiquetar y fechar todos los recipientes de alimentos y rotar productos conforme a las políticas del establecimiento.
  • Planificar la preparación diaria, retiro de productos del congelador y montaje de la línea.
  • Almacenar adecuadamente los alimentos no utilizados.
  • Gestionar y priorizar tareas de acuerdo con el turno asignado.

 

Lo que aportas

  • Experiencia previa como cocinero en una cocina profesional o formación culinaria formal, preferentemente en hoteles de lujo o restaurantes de alta categoría.
  • Ética de trabajo sólida, actitud positiva y deseo genuino de crecer y aprender dentro de un equipo culinario.
  • Capacidad para trabajar bajo presión sin comprometer la calidad ni la presentación de los platos.
  • Atención meticulosa al detalle y compromiso con la consistencia en la preparación y presentación de los alimentos.
