Metropolitan Hospitality is a growing Vancouver Island based Hotel and Restaurant Management company
We’re always looking for new ways to raise the bar. So we’re searching for a Sales Director with a track record of driving sales and smashing targets to help us fill our rooms, and meeting rooms and establish and maintain good local customer relationships.
Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:
● Managing daily sales activities and working with our operations team to deliver sales and great experiences
● Hitting all personal and team sales goals to help us maximise profitability
● Helping to create and implement sales plans that drive measurable incremental occupancy, increase average rates, increase meeting room occupancy and banquet sales
● Producing and reviewing monthly reports, using sales force to track calls and activities
● Developing and maintaining relationships with key clients and outside contacts
This role requires a self-motivated individual with strong communication and organizational skills, and the ability to travel locally as needed. A personal vehicle is required.
● Minimum 1 year of experience in a hotel, and sales and marketing
● Strong knowledge of local businesses and business trends required
● Must speak local language(s)
● Other languages preferred
