About the role
The Commis I plays a key role in supporting the Chef de Partie in a designated kitchen section. This position involves food preparation, cooking, and presentation while ensuring the highest levels of food quality, hygiene, and consistency in accordance with established standards.

 

What you will do

  • Prepare food items according to guest orders of consistent quality following recipe cards, as well as production, portion, and presentation standards; complete mis en place and set-up station for breakfast, lunch, and/or dinner service .
  • Maintain section cleanliness, mise en place, and food stock control.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and other departments as needed.
  • Follow kitchen procedures and safety protocols, including food storage and labeling.
