Located in the downtown area of historic, Springfield, Illinois, the President Abraham Lincoln Springfield, a DoubleTree by Hilton, is looking for an energetic Director of Food & Beverage to lead the Food & Beverage department and to continue to drive the positive culture at the property!
Boasting 310 guest rooms, 14,000 square feet of meeting space, an indoor pool, and multiple dining options, this hotel is the premiere full-service hotel in Springfield! The ideal candidate for this key leadership position will be a hands-on leader with a strong attention to detail and 2-3 years human resources management experience.
What will I be doing:
Directs and organizes the activities of the Food & Beverage departments to maintain the high standards of food and beverage quality, service and marketing to maximize profits through outstanding customer service.
Plans and directs the functions of administration and planning of the Food & Beverage department to meet the daily needs of the operation.
Implements effective controls of food, beverage and labor costs.
Ensures compliance with health, safety, sanitation and alcohol awareness standards.
Helps ensure high standards of food and beverage quality, service and marketing to maximize profits and ensure outstanding customer service.
Interviews, trains, supervises, counsels, schedules and evaluates staff.
