About the role

As a Barista, you’ll be responsible for crafting high-quality coffee and specialty beverages with consistency and flair. You’ll play a key role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests, whether they’re starting their day or enjoying a post-dinner espresso.
What you will do

• The ability to take drink orders, prepare cold and hot beverages, and then serve them in a timely fashion.
• Lifting coffee and hot water pots, food trays/containers, merchandise, and other items necessary to keep the coffee shop stocked and maintained.
• The ability to maintain accurate cash handling and process customer transactions while maintaining other duties.
• The ability to accurately process transactions through the POS and count back change to customers.
• The ability to prepare and serving food items, including heating sandwiches and other hot menu options, as well as portioning and scooping ice cream and other cold treats in accordance with food safety and quality standards.
• The ability to meet all Four Seasons and Health Department food, beverage and safety standards including maintaining a current Arizona Food Handler Card.
• The ability to conduct all opening procedures including setting up the coffee, food, and merchandise displays.
• The ability to provide information and assistance to guests as requested, provide directions/orientation of the facilities when appropriate, and be familiar with all hotel services and hours of operation.
