About the location:

An urban retreat in the heart of the Mile High city. Plan a getaway at our elevated mountain metropolis. Preferred Qualifications and Skills

  • Greets guests who arrive by private car and assists guests descending from cars. Issues appropriate valet parking ticket, as well as explain parking procedure and price when Door Staff is unavailable.
  • Greets guests and escorts them to their rooms.  Delivers luggage to room upon check-in and picks up luggage from room upon departure, moving the luggage to storage or the Front Drive.  Maintains proper records of deliveries and pick-ups.
  • Assesses any damage to vehicle when Doorman is not available.  Clearly notes any damage on claim ticket along with location of vehicle when parked. Deposits key and ticket with Valet Cashier.
  • Drives car to hotel or local garage, adhering to all traffic regulations, and speed limits, using caution not to damage the vehicle being driven and other vehicles in the vicinity.  Yields to pedestrians.
  • Provides guests with directions, recommendations, and information about the city and its attractions. Hails taxis as needed.
  • Retrieves car for guests in a swift and safe manner.
  • Handles all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests whenever possible; resolves customer complaints, assist customers in all inquiries in connection with hotel services, hours of operations, key hotel personnel, in-house events, directions, etc.
  • Greets all guests passing through lobby and offers them assistance.
  • Works harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors.
  • Performs shoeshine service; picking up shoes from guest room, cleaning and polishing them and returning them to the guest.
  • Performs errands for guests and the hotel that may require local travel off of the hotel property. Additionally, provides house car services for guest use to and from hotel within a 3 mile radius

 

Education:        High School diploma

 

Experience:      Previous Bell/Valet experience in a hotel environment preferred

 

Skills and Abilities:     Requires reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language, must have working knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, First Responder Certification a plus.

 

• Successful candidate must possess legal work authorization in the United States
