Sales Coordinator

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Diplomat Beach Resort, Curio by Hilton is looking for a Sales Coordinator to join the Sales and Marketing Department! The Diplomat Beach Resort, Curio Collection by Hilton is South Florida’s iconic beachfront destination located between Miami and Fort Lauderdale in Hollywood, Florida and has 1,000 rooms.

Our ideal candidate has previous Customer service, Sales or Front Office experience, can multitask, is organized, detail oriented and proactive and has a great desire to learn and grow within the department and company. Hilton experience is preferred, but not mandatory.
Shift PatternMonday through Friday, 9AM to 5.30PM, with weekend availability if needed.

What will I be doing?

  • Provides the director and managers of sales and marketing with administrative and clerical support including word- processing, typing, e-mailing, filing, data-entry, faxing, copying, corresponding, answering telephones, processing mail, taking notes and/or dictation, making travel arrangements and performing other general office duties. Assists on special projects as needed.
  • Provides the director and managers of sales with administrative and clerical support including word- processing, typing, e-mailing, filing, data-entry, faxing, copying, corresponding, answering telephones, processing mail, taking notes and/or dictation, making travel arrangements and performing other general office duties.
  • Assists the Sales Managers upon request to conduct site inspections with potential group clients and or receive visitors/clients.
  • Data entry using Microsoft Word, and Excel. Examples include correspondence, reports, marketing pieces, direct mail, contracts, internal forms, schedule of events.
  • Responsible for the preparation of proposals and/or contracts to advise prospective customers primarily of the hotel guest rooms, but also meeting space and/or banquet date, space and rate availability.
