Purchasing Clerk

The Signia by Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek and Waldorf Astoria Orlando is searching for a talented Purchasing Clerk join their team!

Ideal candidate will have previous buyer and receiving experience including supplies, storeroom clerk experience and food and beverage experience. Previous Hilton experience and having strong computer skills and Smart Spend experience is preferred.

Shift Pattern:  Candidate will work Monday-Friday shifts from between 5:00am to 5:00pm. Candidate will work Weekends and Holidays as needed.

Pay Rate: $17.55 per hour

What will I be doing?

  • Accepts all purchased products into the hotel, verifying accuracy of delivery to purchase orders.
  • Maintains storeroom in accordance with standards and rotates stock accordingly.
  • Issues and delivers items to departments in accordance with the requisition policies and procedures.
  • Conducts Inventories.
  • Essential Functions: Enters all non-edible merchandise into the computer, nothing the received status shortages and all the other required information so all merchandise is accounted for.
  • Prepares all outgoing records.
  • Notifies person responsible for ordering merchandise when shipment arrives or if the shipment fails to arrive so that any discrepancies can be resolved.
  • Signs, dates and time stamps all invoices on the respective receiving sheet, ensuring times are correctly identified.
