About the location:

Position Overview:
We are seeking enthusiastic, professional, and customer-oriented Casual Servers to join our team during the festive season. As a Casual Server at our five-star hotel restaurant, you will provide exceptional service to our guests, ensuring they enjoy a memorable dining experience. You will work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and be part of a team that prides itself on offering the highest level of service during this special time of year.
Key Responsibilities:
· Greet guests warmly and provide prompt, attentive service throughout their dining experience.
· Present menus, answer questions about food and beverages, and offer recommendations based on guest preferences.
· Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them to the kitchen or bar staff.
· Ensure that all orders are served according to the restaurant’s standards, in a timely and professional manner.
· Anticipate guests’ needs and respond to them proactively, ensuring an exceptional dining experience.
· Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
· Clear tables, refill drinks, and assist with guest needs throughout their meal.
· Handle cash and process payments accurately when required.
· Work collaboratively with kitchen staff, bartenders, and other servers to ensure smooth operations.
· Adhere to health and safety standards, including food safety guidelines and COVID-19 protocols.
· Assist with setting up and breaking down the restaurant for events and daily operations.
· Promote special offers, events, and menu items to guests as appropriate.
Qualifications:
· Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a luxury hotel or fine dining restaurant, is an advantage.
· Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
· Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
· Ability to handle a fast-paced work environment with a positive attitude.
· Professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
· Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
· Basic knowledge of food and beverage menu items and an eagerness to learn.
· Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift light to moderate objects (e.g., trays, glassware).

· Casual, part-time position with potential for extended shifts during peak hours.
