THE TEAM
As part of the global Finance Team, this role contributes to the development and execution of global tax strategies and governance. The Finance Team focuses on ensuring financial integrity, strategic planning, and regulatory compliance across all business units. You will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer and collaborate closely with Legal, Corporate Development, and regional finance teams.
YOUR ROLE
As Senior Director, Tax, Global, you will play a critical role in ensuring tax compliance, optimizing tax planning, and mitigating tax risks across all jurisdictions. Your leadership will directly impact the Group’s financial sustainability, support strategic growth initiatives, and enhance operational efficiency through effective tax planning and risk management.
HOW YOU’LL MAKE THE PLACE
- Develop and implement global tax planning strategies and policies that align with company goals and business objectives.
- Manage transfer pricing policies, documentation, and compliance with local requirements.
- Lead and ensure compliance with all local statutory tax filing requirements, including Corporate Income Tax, VAT filings, and tax audits.
- Support tax calculations in accounting and budgeting processes and liaise with external auditors during annual audits.
- Provide internal tax support, including advising on tax terms in contract reviews and conducting internal training.
- Develop and maintain relationships with tax authorities and external tax advisors.
- Engage in tax research and advisory to identify and implement tax-effective solutions.
- Model the Company’s culture, vision, mission, and core values at all times.
COULD THIS BE YOU?
- You bring deep expertise in Corporate Income Tax, VAT, Transfer Pricing, and International Tax, and you apply this knowledge with integrity and strategic thinking.
- You have at least 10 years of tax experience in multinational companies, including 5+ years in a managerial role, and you lead with drive and people leadership.
- You’ve worked in a Big 4 accounting firm, giving you a strong foundation in global tax principles and the ability to influence through credibility and connection.
- You’re a Certified Public Accountant (or equivalent) with a strong foundation in accounting, and you use your business acumen to deliver financial results.
- You thrive under pressure, solving complex problems with adaptability and initiative.
- You communicate with clarity and influence, building trust with internal and external stakeholders.
- You’ve successfully navigated tax audits and controversies, demonstrating perseverance and a connection-focused approach to stakeholder engagement.
