Restaurant and Bar Supervisor

Mantra Club Croc is located five minutes’ drive from the main street of Airlie Beach, and is situated in the magical Whitsundays region in North-Queensland. The property offers a mix of hotel rooms and suites, a lagoon style pool, and Club Croc Bistro for its guests to experience within a relaxing resort style environment. On your days off, enjoy the myriad choices on offer to island hop, visit the powder white sands of iconic Whitehaven Beach, or snorkel, dive and discover the wonder of the Great Barrier Reef and meet its inhabitants.

 

 

Purpose

As the Restaurant Bar Supervisor, you are at the forefront of creating a variety of dining experiences that showcase exceptional taste and service. Your main goal is to guide a unified team, guaranteeing the flawless execution of food and beverage operations while maintaining the establishment’s high standards of quality and guest satisfaction.

 

Primary Responsibilities

  • Take the reins in the absence of the restaurant / bar manager and during busy service hours showcase your skills front of the house, setting the pace and leading by example
  • Cultivate an enthusiasm for constructing delectable beverages while staying current with the latest trends in mixology
  • Collaborate with your team to spark motivation and attain exceptional results together
  • Contribute to creating schedules, nurturing team growth, and harmonising departmental efforts
  • Create a welcoming and friendly atmosphere where you will turn every moment into a memory and every experience into a story
  • When challenges arise, your ability to transform obstacles into opportunities shines
  • Guide your team in attaining service excellence while actively seeking out information to enhance your product knowledge

 

Skills and Experience

  • Demonstrated genuine passion and enthusiasm for the hospitably and food sector
  • Prior history of leading and empowering teams with a focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences
  • Familiar and well-versed across diverse food & beverage settings and have flexibility to work across different schedules including weekends and public holidays as required
  • Possession of a valid RSA or an equivalent qualification for the specific Country / State / Territory
  • Passion for engaging with patrons and leading a team of diverse professionals
  • Confidence in  communicating with guests and colleagues for seamless teamwork
