Account Director – Corporate

At Sofitel Sydney Wentworth, we are seeking a dynamic and commercially driven Account Director – Corporate to join our high-performing Sales team. This is an exciting opportunity to represent a globally recognised luxury brand while driving corporate revenue growth and building long-term client partnerships.

What You’ll Do

• Manage and grow a portfolio of corporate accounts, focusing on businesses within close proximity to the hotel
• Maintain and strengthen existing client relationships to maximise retention and revenue opportunities
• Proactively identify, pursue, and convert new business opportunities
• Build strong partnerships with travel agents and key stakeholders to drive account performance
• Conduct regular sales calls, client meetings, and site inspections to promote hotel offerings
• Develop and execute strategic sales plans aligned with revenue targets
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities and inform strategy
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of client expectations
• Prepare proposals, follow up on leads, and ensure timely response to all client enquiries
• Maintain accurate records, reporting, and account information within sales systems

• Proven experience in corporate sales within hospitality or a similar industry
• Strong relationship management and negotiation skills
• A proactive, results-driven approach with a focus on achieving revenue targets
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to identify opportunities and convert leads into business
• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
• Experience using CRM or sales systems preferred
• Knowledge of the Sydney corporate market is highly regarded
