Join us as a Kitchen Steward on a Casual Basis!

Position Summary:

• Rise with us, assisting with preparing of good quality dishes with high presentation standards, focusing on attention to detail
• Follow a food preparation checklist and establish priority items
• Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping and storing food before use
• Serve food in proper portions onto proper receptacles
• Maintain organisational skills to ensure your section is clean and runs efficiently throughout each service period
• Ensure all food is prepared and presented in a way that aims to exceed guest expectations, focusing on the guest’s overall wellbeing
• Wash and disinfect kitchen area, tables, tools, knives and equipment.
• Maintain strong food safety and property standards
• Clean various surfaces such as floors, benches, canteen area and more
• Chemical handling with accordance to health and safety standards

About You:

• Passion for the industry
• Relevant experience in a similar role
