What you will do

  • Take guest room service orders by phone when needed.
  • Verify and deliver food and beverage orders accurately.
  • Set up dining tables and room service equipment in guest rooms.
  • Explain menu items and answer guest questions.
  • Anticipate guest needs and provide personalized service.
  • Remove trays and dining equipment after meals.
  • Process guest checks and room charges correctly.
  • Maintain cleanliness of service stations and equipment.
  • Work closely with kitchen and hotel staff to ensure timely service.

 

What you bring

  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to carry trays and stand/walk for long periods.
  • Attention to detail and multitasking ability.
  • Food and beverage knowledge, including wine knowledge at many luxury properties.
  • Previous restaurant, hotel, or room service experience is often preferred.
