Picture yourself brightening someone’s day. When you join our Hotels team, that’s exactly what you’ll do every time you come to work! As a Food & Beverage Waiter, you’re not just providing food and drink service – you’re spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest.

Here’s what you’ll do during a typical day:

• As a Hostess, you are responsible for serving guests in a friendly, timely, and efficient manner to deliver an excellent Guest and Member experience. A Hostess will also be required to have extensive knowledge of menu offerings. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

• Meet and greet guests as they arrive, offer choice of seating, then escort them to their table and present menu.
• Full control of the guest flow including guest with reservation, walk-ins, waiting list , table plan and seating
• Read, maintain, and make daily entry to the reservation to coordinate communication between shifts and management.
• Maintain proper set-up of dining room based on the reservation and guest flow.
• Receive, record, and make any necessary arrangements for reservations and special functions in the restaurant.
• Conduct daily briefings to keep staff informed of current promotions, daily specials, guest comments, daily events and pertinent memos.
• Manage guest queries in a friendly, timely, and efficient manner
• Ensure knowledge of menu and all products
• Follow correct reporting procedures if faced with issues
• Practice Hilton Grooming standards including uniform dress code, cleanliness and personal hygiene
• Assists callers courteously and promptly, taking messages as necessary which are legible and accurate passing them on to the appropriate person without delay
• Has a good knowledge of the restaurant’s sitting arrangements
• Comply with hotel security, fire regulations and all health and safety legislation
