We’re looking for energetic and reliable Food & Beverage Housepersons to join our team on a casual basis.

This is a hands-on role that keeps our events and functions moving. You’ll be responsible for setting up and packing down spaces for conferences, banquets and events, moving furniture and equipment, and helping create the right environment for everything from small meetings to large-scale celebrations.

You’ll work across a variety of spaces, both indoors and outdoors, in a fast-paced and dynamic environment where every shift can be different.

Your Responsibilities

• Set up and pack down conference, banquet and event spaces
• Move tables, chairs, staging, equipment and other heavy items safely and efficiently
• Prepare both small meeting rooms and large event spaces for a variety of functions
• Assist with outdoor event set-ups and pack-downs
• Ensure event spaces are clean, organised and presented to a high standard
• Work closely with the Food & Beverage and Events teams to ensure smooth event operations
• Assist with general Food & Beverage duties from time to time, including supporting service and maintaining clean and organised areas
• Follow safe manual handling practices and workplace procedures
• Be ready to jump in and help wherever needed

• Is physically fit and comfortable with heavy lifting and moving equipment
• Enjoys working as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Is comfortable working both indoors and outdoors
• Has a positive attitude and is willing to learn
• Has good communication and time management skills
• Is flexible and available across a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, public holidays and overnight shifts
