About the role:

Reporting to the Director of Catering and working closely within a professional Team, You will be responsible for strategically managing our Catering Sales Activities in the assigned market segments . You will then be the key contact for our clients in the lead up phase with a focus on planning and executing events to the highest level of service, of which Four Seasons is globally recognized and chosen for.

What you will do:

• Drive Catering sales across the assigned market segments to achieve the Hotel’s Catering budget performance
• Liaise closely and directly with clients of the assigned markets in the planning stages & execution of events
• Work closely with all key Hotel operational departments to ensure service execution whilst groups and functions/events are in house and in turn ensuring the clients satisfaction
• Plan and conduct Site Inspections
• Prepare proposals and contracts
• Create new and exciting strategies to drive revenue opportunities
• Work together with the Hotel’s vendors to provide audio visual needs and decorations for events, as well as other outside suppliers and contractors engaged by the client or Hotel to provide services

What you bring:

• A passion to provide an outstanding guest/client experience

   

• A proven track record in delivering outstanding results as a current/previous Catering & Events professional

   

• Impeccable communication, negotiation and influencing skills

   

• A collaborative style that will build strong relations with all Hotel departments who are key to the success of the Catering team

   

• A flair for creativity and innovation

   

• A minimum 2 year’s experience in catering / event management is required

   

• Awareness of the market and competition

   

• Strong contacts/relationship with Events’ Organizers, Meeting Planners and connection to the local community
