In this role, you will be overseeing the day-to-day operations of Peacock Alley, reporting to the Restaurant General Manager and overseeing 30 Front of House Team Members.

Named after the passageway once used by patrons of the original Waldorf Astoria, Peacock Alley returns as a modern evocation of its stories past. Bespoke menus unfold from breakfast to dinner, while libations pay homage to the revered traditions of the world’s greatest cocktail bars.

Classification: Full-Time

Shift: Various – must be available weekdays, weekends, and holidays.

Pay Rate: The annual salary range for this role is $60,000 – $80,000 and is based on applicable and specialized experience and location.

What will I be doing?

As an Assistant Restaurant Manager, you would be responsible for assisting the manager in directing and organizing the activities and services of a hotel food and beverage outlet to deliver an excellent guest experience. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

• Assist in the management of operations to include, but not limited to, guest service standards and initiatives, product quality, cost controls and overall profitability, marketing initiatives, systems use and management, budgeting and forecasting, department management, policy and procedure implementation and enforcement and meeting participation and facilitation
• Assist in monitoring and developing team member performance to include, but not limited to, providing supervision, conducting counselling and evaluations and delivering recognition and reward
• Assist in monitoring and assessing product quality and service and satisfaction trends, evaluate and address issues and make
