The Role 

The basic purpose for this role is to set-up and clearing of china, glass, silver, linen, tables, chairs, and props for banquet functions as well as attend to guest needs and requests. Job duties include but are not limited to:

• Set-up, breakdown, and clean tables, chairs, buffets, skirting, and props as specified by the banquet event order.
•  Stock linen, china, silver and glassware and supplies for service ensuring that in good condition.
• Maintain cleanliness and condition of all banquet function space according to maintenance programs and plans.
• Retrieve meeting materials, props, crates, and boxes from the hotel’s receiving area and store them safely and securely.
• Comply with Four Seasons’ Category One and Category Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct as set forth in EmPact.
• Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors.
• Assist management team in administrative work as directed and perform other tasks of projects as assigned by hotel management

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

• This position does require an applicant with a flexible schedule, able to work days, evenings, rotating shifts, weekends and holidays.
• Ideal candidate can read, write, and speak English.
• Strong customer satisfaction/people skills
• Ability to multi-task in a demanding environment
• Ability to utilize digital equipment, such as a mobile device with applications such as HotSOS, FS Messenger and any other programs.
