• To provide efficient food and beverage service to all internal guests. To understand all duties and go about your duties in a kind and helpful manner. Adhere to the policies, procedures and standards while serving all co-workers and internal guests.
• To report to duty punctually in uniform in order to maintain the integrity of co-workers and guests
• Perform all specific duties as assigned by the Cafeteria manager/Manager on Duty
• Perform opening and closing duties according to department standards and SOPs set by the manager
• Support all areas of the cafeteria by working as a team
• Set cafeteria buffet food and beverage lines before each meal period begins
• Reset each buffet line for the next meal period
• Ensure cafeteria buffet lines are fully stocked at all times during meal periods
• Ensure items are identified for reordering by effectively communicating to the manger on duty on a daily basis utilizing written and verbal communication methods.
• Receiving good from the stores department and properly storing away items using FIFO method and Ecosure standards
• Ensure tables are cleared, cleaned and sanitized for guest use
