We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chef de Partie specializing in Eastern Mediterranean cuisine to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Greek, Turkish, Lebanese, and Middle Eastern flavors, bringing authentic and innovative dishes to life.

Nestled within the Four Seasons Resort at Peninsula Papagayo, Costa Rica, the Virador Beach Club offers a unique dining experience that harmoniously blends the natural beauty of its coastal setting with the rich flavors of Eastern Mediterranean cuisine. Inspired by architect Jorge Borja’s vision, this coastal culinary haven presents a diverse menu featuring fresh seafood, salads, and grilled specialties.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Restaurant Chef in menu planning, food preparation, and kitchen management.
• Ensure the authentic preparation of dishes such as mezze, kebabs, seafood, slow-cooked stews, and freshly baked breads.
• Maintain high – quality standards for taste, presentation, and consistency.
• Oversee kitchen staff, ensuring efficient operations during service.
• Manage inventory and food cost, ensuring proper stock levels of spices, fresh herbs, and specialty ingredients.
• Ensure health and safety compliance in food handling and kitchen hygiene.
• Collaborate on new dish development, incorporating traditional and modern cooking techniques.
• Train and mentor junior chefs on Eastern Mediterranean cooking methods.
