Cluster Director of Sales – Groups

We are searching for a Cluster Director of Sales – Groups, to join Mandarin Oriental Palace, Luzern and Mandarin Oriental Savoy, Zurich.

Mandarin Oriental Palace, Luzern is an iconic Belle Époque landmark, offering a premier luxury experience. The hotel comprises 136 rooms and suites, four restaurants, one bar together with a variety of meeting facilities, a Spa and a fitness room.

Mandarin Oriental Savoy, Zurich is located in the heart of the Old Town, in the main business center, close to the city’s leisure attractions and just a short walk from the shores of Lake Zurich. The Mandarin Oriental Savoy, Zurich has 80 guest rooms and suites and three dining venues, including an all-day dining restaurant, a specialty restaurant and a lobby lounge.

 

 

About the job:

 

Based at the Mandarin Oriental Palace, Luzern and working for both hotels: Mandarin Oriental Palace, Luzern and Mandarin Oriental Savoy, Zurich the Cluster Director of Sales – Groups, is responsible for the strategic direction and execution of group sales initiatives for both properties. This role is responsible for driving top-line revenue, building strategic relationships, and leading group sales with a strong focus on performance, collaboration, and market expansion for both hotels.

 

As Cluster Director of Sales – Groups you will be responsible for the following duties:

    • Leading and executing the Group Sales strategy for both properties to grow revenue and market share.
    • Developing and managing annual business plans, budgets, forecasts, and revenue goals for both properties.
    • Driving proactive business development by identifying new opportunities, building strong partnerships, and securing high‑value group business.
    • Building and fostering long-term relationships with corporate clients, destination management companies, travel partners, event planners.
    • Representing both hotels at trade shows, sales missions, client events, and industry exhibitions to strengthen visibility and brand awareness.
    • Monitoring competitor activity and market trends to adjust strategies and maintain a strong competitive edge.
